Wakinyan Ska Hoksila Williams, age 21 of Aberdeen, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 in Troy, Illinois, He was born on June 7th, 1998 the son of Lanny Dean Williams and Melaine J. Stoneman. Wakinyan was employed in construction. He enjoyed singing traditional songs, doing volunteer work with the Brave Heart Women's Society, cultural camps and belonged to the Native American Church.

Survived by his mother: Melanie J. Stoneman; father: Lanny Dean Williams; step-father: Chester Stoneman Sr.; sisters: Katlin Zotti, Miranda Perkins, Topi Perkins, Laycie Williams and Antoinette Antonio; materal grandparents: Gene and Mary Ann McCowan; Hunka brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandmothers: Grace Ann Bad Moccasin, Evelyn Atkinson; grandfather: Eugene Williams; uncles: Shawn Leckey and Mark McCowan; aunt: Frachone Bear Heels.
