George Harmon Kelly, Jr., age 71, of Park Rapids, Minnesota and of the Eagle Clan journeyed to the spirit world on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 from Sanford Hospital in Bemidji, MN. He was born the son of Ardith (Bliler) and George Kelly, Sr. on March 7th, 1948 in Bemidji, MN.

George grew up in Red Lake and left in 1979 for Troy, Montana. While there he worked for the Forestry Service for six years. George decided to go back to school in Missoula, MT for accounting. He moved back to Minneapolis, MN where he worked for the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation services for many years. George retired in the late 90's and later moved to Park Rapids, MN where he resided until the time of his passing. George loved hunting whitetails, computer games, jigsaw puzzles, watching the History Channel and never missed a Minnesota Twins game. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.

Family that welcome George to the spirit world are his parents, Ardith and George Kelly, Sr .; son, Eric Neadeau, Sr .; grandson, Jerrick Neadeau; great grandson, Karson Neadeau; and sister, Grace Kelly Johnson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Janet (Clarence) Drouillard of Red Lake, Angela (Matthew) Rich of Long Beach, CA and Larry Sigana of Red Lake; brother, Merrill Kelly of Red Lake; grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Ryan and Devin Neadeau, Harley and Kaidyn Rich, Andrew and Eric Neadeau, Jr. and Jessica Brummond; 19 great grandchildren and several more relatives and friends.

An overnight wake for George will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, October 11th all being held at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN. His honorary pallbearers are Harley Rich, Matthew Rich, Clarence Drouillard, Devin Neadeau, Ryan Neadeau, Kyle Neadeau, Kayla Neadeau, Donald "Ducker" Kelly, Robin Kelly, Dan Kelly, George Graves, Patrick Graves, Andrew Neadeau, Jessica Brummond, Eric Neadeau, Jr., LaVonne Vasend, Clay Frazier, Thomas Frazier and Charles Kelly, Jr. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Bemidji, MN on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
