Jared "Toby" Tobias Martin, 29, of Ponemah, MN died Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Traditional services will begin at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club. A wake will begin at 12:00 pm, Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Ponemah Boys and Girls Club. Interment will be at the Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN under the direction the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

Jared was born September 10, 1990 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. He grew up in Ponemah and Redby, MN. He worked through out his life off and on for the Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls, MN. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Ashton, and nephews, Johnny, Junes, Baby Bill, and Michael.

Jared is survived by his mom, Melanie Johnson; father, Gerald Martin; son, Ashton Martin; siblings, Tiffany King, Peter White, Brandon Jones, Kyle Martin, Brittany Stately, Morning Star Jones, William Jones IV; grandpa, Charles Martin, Sr.; significant other, Sierra Strong, special daughter, Eleah; Ashton's mom, Aubrey Olson; and numerous nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edna Johnson, Marian Martin, Paul Johnson, Jr., and the man who raised him, William Jones III.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Edz Cook, Jordan Belland, Daniel White, Jr., Bryson May, and Julius Maxwell.

Active Casketbearers will be Chad Hurd, Carl Fairbanks, Jr., Doug Beaulieu, Jr., Dion Jones, William Jones IV, Thomas Thunder, Robert Aldridge, Tyler Johnson, and Kevin Johnson. Alternates will be Jordan Jones, Julian Jones, and Brandon Jones.
