Loren "Hawk" Lee Connor

Loren ‘Hawk” Connor, 70, of Nett Lake Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019. Loren was born to Lawrence Sr. and Katherine (Day) Connor on September 9, 1949 in Virginia, Minnesota. Loren enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in July of 1967. He served 2 tours in Vietnam; 5th Tanks 5th Marines. He served his country with pride; and was honorably discharged in 1977. Loren met the love of his life Diana Goggleye and they remained together for 38 years. They have four children together, which he loved dearly. Loren was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson Michael Jr Starlin Strong. Loren is survived by his love: Diana Goggleye; their children: Michael Goggleye and his children-Elijah Goggleye, Michaela Goggleye, Kristina Goggleye, Isaiah Goggleye, Michael Jr. Goggleye; Leona Connor and Jason Drift and their children-Carlos Jensen, Sierra Jensen, Serena Jensen, Harley Connor, Frankie Connor, Mercedes Connor, Alexis Drift, and Dezarae Drift; Lyle Connor and Sarah and their son Whyett Connor; Mark Connor (Chaylynn and her son Wilbert); siblings: Lawrence Connor Jr., Lois Grahm, Annamarie Dorr, Francis Connor, Darrell Connor, Karen Connor, Kay Connor, Kelly Rutar, Ruth Connor, Jenael Goggleye, Eugene Boshey, and Barbara Brodin; many nieces and nephews and close friends; and special pup Skuzzer.

A Traditional Wake will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 5:00 PM at the Nett Lake Government and Services Center. A Traditional Service will follow the next day; Sunday, September 6, 2019 at 10:00 AM, also at the center. Military Honors will be accorded by: the Bois Forte Honor Guard, Orr American Legion Post #480 Honor Guard, and Cook VFW Post #1757 Honor Guard.
