'Very lucky' - Woman jailed for stabbing another woman in the neck

A woman handed a 22-month sentence Monday for stabbing another woman in the neck last December was fortunate her victim wasn’t killed, a Windsor judge said.

Adrienne Plastow, 37, originally charged with attempted murder, pleaded guilty earlier this year to the lesser offence of aggravated assault. Her victim was able to call 911 after having had her carotid artery, which supplies blood to the neck and brain, cut with a knife.
