Pursuit with stolen ambulance ends with two juveniles being arrested

NORTHERN TOWNSHIP, BEMIDJI, MN: On Sunday, September 29, 2019 at approximately 1:18 AM, the Beltrami County Sheriffs Office 911 Center was notified of a Red Lake Ambulance being stolen from the Red Lake Hospital. A short time late a Beltrami County Deputy located the stolen ambulance traveling on Irvine Ave (County Road 15) at Grange Rd (County Road 22) in Northern Township. Deputies attempted to stop the stolen ambulance but the vehicle increased it's speed in an attempt to allude the Deputies. A Beltrami County Deputy and a Bemidji Police Officer were able to deploy tire deflation devices with the ambulance becoming disabled north of US 71 on Irvine Avenue. As a result, two juveniles were taken into custody.
