Arnold Oliver

Arnold “Arnie” J. Oliver, 77, Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at home. Arnie was born on March 14, 1942, in Red Lake, Minnesota the son of the now late Alvin “Lummy” and Amy (Graves) Oliver. He was a graduate of Bemidji High School with the class of 1961. At an early age he was a very talented musician and through the years became an accomplished musician playing, with the likes of Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn and Johnny Cash. Music was his life and was a member of several country bands that would travel throughout the Midwest. In the beginning he was based out of The Flame in Minneapolis, MN and then moved to Green Bay where he was at Jakes Hollywood Palace.

Arnie is survived by one daughter: Margo Oliver and her son Arnie Joe, one son: Keith Hvamstad, and his daughter Renee, along with her son Quinn. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded first wife Sandi and by his second wife Jan.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Drive. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Sr. Marla Clercx officiating.
