Quentin George Fairbanks

Fairbanks, Quentin George age 87 of Red Lake, Minnesota, passed away on September 7th, 2019.

Preceded in death by parents, Reuben and Alice. Quentin spent his life in service having honorably served in the Air Force during the Korean War, as a Minnesota State Trooper, a Duluth businessman, and as a three-term Beltrami County Commissioner. He also had a life-long dedication to improving the lives of the Red Lake community.

Survived by JoAnn Fairbanks, children, Lea Ann, Steven Jon and wife Deidre, and Craig Michael; and 6 grandchildren, Samuel, Josef, Maya, Ethan, Maeve, and Anne; siblings, Catherine, Michael, Ignatius, Florian, Karen, Rita, and Kevin, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, MN. Funeral service will be held at 1PM with visitation at 12:30PM on Friday, Sept. 20th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 18777 Riverwood Rd., Little Falls, MN.
