All-night visitations will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 beginning at 7:00 PM continuing Friday, August 9th, 2019 at the Little Earth Community Gym in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Further visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 beginning at 3:00 PM at The Mission Center (Old Bug School)Cass Lake, Minnesota.

On Sunday, August 4th, 2019 Shayna Mae Fairbanks, loving mother and daughter, started he journey to the Spirit World at the age of 31 years old. Shayna was born on July 25th, 1988 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Gordon Fairbanks and Triva Radakrishnan. She was a loving mother to her one and only son, JarVaughn Douglas Washington Jr. He was born on July 25, 2007. They shared the same birthdate.

Shayna loved hanging out with her family. She also loved music! No matter what she was doing or where she was she had her music playing. She enjoyed writing poems. She was employed as a nursing assistant at Affordable Angels. Shayna loved being a daycare teacher, her dream was to open her own child care business. She like taking pictures, taking many pictures with friends and loved ones. She would always share her pictures on social media.

She is survived by her parents: Gordy and Triva; her only son: JarVaughn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shayna is preceded in death by her brother: Anthony Fairbanks; grandmothers: Dilea Diver and Margaret Fairbanks; grandfathers: Donavan Diver and Leo Fairbanks; aunt: Angela Robinson; cousins: James Howard, Jonathan Howard, Corey Buckholtz and Donald Clark (DeeJay); many more loved ones and friends.

Honorary Casket Bearers are Shayna's family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Gordon Fairbanks, Jose Clark, JarVaughn Washington Jr. Ronald King, JarVaughn Washington Sr., and Anthony Fairbanks Jr.

Interment will be at the Sugar Bush Cemetery in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
