Police ID woman killed, man wounded in Maple Grove home; son arrested

A woman was killed and a man wounded in a lakeside Maple Grove home Wednesday evening, and the couple’s son was arrested.

Elizabeth J. Witt, 68, was found dead about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in the home on the 6600 block of Eagle Lake Drive, where they found her and husband George B. Witt, 71, with severe head injuries, according to police.
