Michael James Strong, age 23, of Minneapolis, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, July 22nd, 2019. He was born on April 28, 1996 in Minneapolis, the son of Darwin Strong and Michelle Dawn (Greene) Earth. Michael was employed in customer service at Best Buy. He loved Rock n Roll and metal music, playing guitar, making music, old movies, and video games (Fortnite). Michael was an easy going person, a funny guy, always caring, and a good person to talk to in difficult times. You could always rely on him to be there for you when needed. His cat (Sloppy Joe) was loved very much, who he'd call his little old man. Michael will be missed very much by his family and friends.

Survived by his father: Darwin Strong; brothers: Brandon Bad Moccasin, Darwin Strong Jr. Damian Strong, Darius Strong and Darion Strong; sisters: Liberty Greene, Justice Strong, Freedom Bad Moccasin and special friend expecting his child; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother: Michelle Dawn Earth.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26th, 2019 – 6:00 P.M. at Blessed Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pastor Shawn Phillips will officiate. All night wakes will be held on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday July 28th beginning at 3:00 PM at the Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, Minnesota, with a prayer service on Sunday, July 28th at 12:00 (Noon). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Little Rock Community Center in Red lake, Minnesota. Father Jerry Rogers will officiate.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Rodney Cruz, Rodney Cruz Jr. and Patrick Greene.

Casket Bearers will be Brandon Bad Moccasin, Robert Bad Moccasin, Darwin Strong Sr., Darwin Strong Jr., Damian Strong and Marvin Greene.

Interment will be at the St. Mary Cemetery in Red Lake, Minnesota.

Arrangement are made with the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota.
