BP: Racing heats up as Bemidji Speedway cools down

BEMIDJI -- After last week’s incredible heat and humidity, racers and fans alike felt relief on Sunday, July 21, as northwest breezes and temperatures in the mid 70s cooled a near-full grandstand and 81 drivers at Bemidji Speedway.

The speedway will next host the Roth RV Pure Stock special with Wissota Pure Stocks racing for increased purses on Sunday, July 28. The Wissota Super Stocks will take the night off, and the Outlaw Mini Mods will make their first appearance at the track in 2019. Racing begins at 5 p.m.
