BP: Authorities arrest two for kidnapping and assault

BEMIDJI -- Two men were arrested over the weekend for kidnapping and then torturing a man -- and also wounding a woman he was with -- at an area mobile home park over several perceived offenses, one of which was "falsely representing" as a gang member.

Anthony James Wittner, 23, and Edward Jenkins-Whitefeather Jr., 19, were each charged with one count of kidnapping to commit great bodily harm/terrorize and two counts of second-degree assault.
