This is how MnDOT left 2nd Avenue S. near 39th Street unfinished until residents complained. MnDOT finished repaving the street on Friday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation ripped up streets in a south Minneapolis neighborhood last fall - and then didn't come back this spring to fix them.

Naturally, that made residents quite unhappy.
