Northview Bank is band sponsor for Brother Jon Band Brother, a rock band out of Minneapolis. The band is rooted in blues and classic rock with a jam style all of their own. Promoting their first release, Open Jam, the band is getting some recognition with the song Bobby's Blues, currently on 10 plus stations across the US and followed up by the song, Dog, getting some good airtime as well. Winners of the 2016 Famous Dave's battle of the bands and Duluth's 94x battle of the bands and Inline Marathon competition, the band is at a high point. Duluth blocked off I35 while the band played in the tunnels for 2,000 spectators and racers. The band keeps getting better moving through the trenches..playing locally, regionally and nationally, most notably at the Lowertown Blues Festival in St. Paul, Duluth's Homegrown Festival, in Superior, WI, at the Northwoods Blues Festival in Chippewa Falls, WI, and in 2017 at The Red Gorilla Festival, a division of the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX. For their live performances, Brother Jon mixes their own music with covers of famous rock bands, including Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and Black Crowes.

Arrive at 5 for the social hour, sponsored by Knute Nelson/Crystal Brook.
