A storm system that dumped heavy rain across the Twin Cities on Monday caused flash flooding, power outages and flight delays at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Dozens of flights were delayed by an hour or more. Several tornado warnings were issued during the evening and wind damage was reported in Belle Plaine. Forecaster Tyler Hasenstein with the National Weather Service in Chanhassen said nothing indicates a tornado was the cause of the damage.
