Donald Leigh Clark I, age 59, of Redby, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 from the Red Lake IHS Hospital in Red Lake, MN. He was born on October 11, 1959 in Red Lake, MN, the son of Oliver and Irene (Spears) Clark.

Donald always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around with everyone. He enjoyed taking drives around the country side and giving his grandkids rides on his wheelchair; you never saw Donald without seeing one his grandkids. When his grandkids became old enough, he would put them to work and taught them about life and financial responsibility. Donald always put his family first. He will be missed dearly.

Family that Donald is reunited with are his son; Brian Cournoyer, parents; Oliver and Irene Clark, brothers; Douglas and Marty Clark, grandson; Tristan White, nephew; Douglas McBride, sister in law; Sandra White and his best friend; Melvin "T-Man" May.

He leaves behind his "best buddy" of 30+ years; Lisa White of Redby, sons; Donald Clark II, Barney White, Myron Jones, Pete White and Lamont White all of Redby, daughters; Chelsey Clark, Alicia White, Kaylene Cournoyer, Tasha Cournoyer and Sonya Jones all of Redby, Carly Clark of St. Cloud and Brittany Clark of Red Lake, brothers; Corky (Roxie) Clark and Myron Clark, sisters; Renae (Mikey) Clark and Ardella "Razzy" Clark, special grandchildren; Mattison and Tristan White, Trent Whitefeather, Cedrick Head and Donald Clark III, many other grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two more on the way, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A wake for Donald will begin at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14th and continue until his 1:00 p.m. services on Tuesday, July 16th all being held at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN. Pallbearers are Derek White, Donald Clark II, Dakota Strong, Patrick Strong, Lamont White, Ryan Ravensborg, Mike Ravensborg, Rickey Jackson, Trent Whitefeather and Corky Clark. His honorary pallbearers are Chelsey Clark, Kaylene Cournoyer, Tasha Cournoyer, Kendra Clark, Cedrick Head, Donald Clark III and Carly Clark. Donald's cremated remains will by cherished and kept by his family.
