BP: New conference to highlight Native wellness, nursing

BEMIDJI -- Professionals and students alike are invited to a new health event next week dedicated to Native American wellness.

On Monday-Tuesday, July 15-16, the Niganawenimaanaanig Indigenous Nursing Program will host the inaugural Indigenous Nursing Conference at BSU's American Indian Resource Center. Niganawenimaanaanig is Ojibwemowin for "We Take Care of Them," and the program is funded through the federal Health Resources and Services Administration.
