Bridging delivers more furniture to the Red Lake Indian Reservation

On Friday afternoon George Head and a group of guys, some volunteers, unloaded a semi truck of furniture at the old Redby Center.

Mostly dressers, these items will go to families in need within the next week or two.

The items come from an organization called Bridging located in the Twin Cities:

Founded in 1987, Bridging was founded on one simple, yet powerful idea-that together we can create a bridge between those in need and those with excess. Since the first donated item, Bridging has provided the basic home essentials to over 90,000 families.

In the past Bridging has delivered beds and mattresses, tables and chairs, couches and more.
