BP: Brainerd man receives eight-plus years for first-degree possession

WALKER -- A Brainerd man was recently sentenced to more than eight years in prison for first-degree drug possession.

Charles Eugene Fairbanks, 36, was sentenced June 3 after he was originally charged in September with one count of first-degree drug possession, as well as two counts of being an ineligible person in possession of a firearm, and two counts of being an ineligible person in possession of ammunition.
