Theater Workshop PSA JULY 19th

What does it mean to live in the greater rural Bemjdji area like in small Puposky (population 85) for example, or Turtle River, Solway, Bagley, Becida, Debs, Pinewood? Or how about Clearbook, Pennington, Blackduck, or that booming village of Funkley? What does it mean to be a rural Minnesotan? Let's work together to explore these questions through theater and storytelling!

Join “The Defrost Project”, a group of actors located in New York City who use theater as a tool for community-building. In this active three-hour workshop packed with games, stories, theater, and fun we will explore rural arts and see if we have an original show waiting to reveal itself !

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Defrost Project, Mask and Rose Theater and Belle Thalia Creative Arts Space in rural Puposky !

Join us for dinner at 5:30 in potluck style ( we provide the ice cream sundaes ). Then workshop starts at 6:00 PM ! Dress comfortably and bring your own water .

Cost - FREE and please do RSVP at maskrose57@gmail.com or 218-760-2211
