PBTF agents executed a search warrant in Bemidji on Wednesday afternoon at a local hotel

On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force (PBTF) completed an investigation stemming from anonymous tips involving the distribution and sales of heroin within the Bemidji and Cass Lake areas.

PBTF agents executed a search warrant in Bemidji on Wednesday afternoon at a local hotel. Arrested were Isaiah Fredrick Johnson (aka “Sticks”), age 31, of Cass Lake, Minnesota, and Ileisha Lynee Guinn, age 26, of Cass Lake, Minnesota, for 1st degree possession of controlled substance. Johnson was also arrested on a Department of Corrections felony warrant. Agents seized 84 grams of heroin, 2.23 grams of marijuana, and $882 in U.S. currency along with miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

The Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force was assisted by the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, the Bemidji Police Department, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension on this case.
