Dennis James Poni Cappo Jr., "Wambdi Sapa" (Black Eagle) of Warwick, ND passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his home in the loving care of his family. He was 49 years old.

The Wake for Dennis will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. There will be final review at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Friday at 4:00 p.m. from the City Plaza.

Funeral Services for Dennis will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Warwick Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeff Kapelle officiating. Burial will be in the Warwick Cemetery.
