Red Lake Police seize nearly 100 grams of high grade crystal meth

RED LAKE, MN - In continuing to improve the overall quality of life and decrease illegal drug use in Red Lake communities, the Red Department of Public Safety Drug Task Force continues to serve search warrants targeting controlled substances.

On June 20th, 2019, a search warrant was executed at a rural Redby, MN residence whereas officers located and confiscated almost 100 grams of high grade crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value between $8,500 to $10,000 along with drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested two individuals in the residence and located one small infant and seized cash and scales related to illegal drug operations.

The individuals are identified as Barbara Thunder, Age 57 and Zack Head, Age 25.

Both face the following charges in Red Lake Tribal Court and this case remains under investigation in conjunction with the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.

Drugs - Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, paraphernalia, Child Endangerment and Disorderly House.
