FOR THE FIRST TIME ITASCA LIFE OPTIONS NOTASNACK FIRE STARTERS WILL BE INCLUDED IN A NATIONWIDE SUBSCRIPTION BOX SERVICE

Grand Rapids, MN- For the first time Itasca Life Options (ILO) NOTaSNACK fire starters will be included in a nationwide subscription service; MinnBox feature “a hand-picked selection of honestly good Minnesota products from honest, good Minnesota companies” according to the MinnBox website. The box theme for the month is camping.

NOTaSNACK fire starters are produced in the ILO workshop as part of a vocational skills program. ILO traditionally sells their fire starters at CRAFTED in the Central Square Mall and the ILO workshop on Commercial Drive. NOTaSNACK fire starters are used to quickly start a fire in fireplaces, bonfires, and charcoal grills. They are light, portable, and burn for approximately 30 minutes.

“We are so excited to be able to work with MinnBox and share our fire starters in a new way! We knew our fire starters were the perfect fit for a MinnBox. We were so excited when we got a response the next morning telling us how perfect the timing was and asking when could we deliver! ” said Jennifer Gorman, Program Coordinator.

Itasca Life Options is excited to share this news with the community and hopes to continue collaborating in new and innovative ways. Increasing distribution channels will not only increase sales but allow them to further grow the agency and support their mission of empowering and offering opportunities to people of all abilities so they can continue serving adults with physical and developmental disabilities.
