Parent and provider meeting focusing on autism and related condition services for children up to 21 years old

Public meeting is June 26, 2019 at Moorhead Public Library

The Minnesota Department of Human Services will host the next in a series of public meetings on services available through Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

The meeting, for parents and caregivers, providers, and other stakeholders is set for 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at the Moorhead Public Library Community Room, 118 5th St S Moorhead, Minnesota 56560

The agenda is:

 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – General autism information, including information on the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) benefit and accessing healthcare coverage

Meeting participants will have opportunities to ask questions and to inform DHS staff about challenges and successes related to autism services.

Anyone who needs a reasonable accommodation or language assistance to participate in these meetings should e-mail ASD.DHS@state.mn.us as soon as possible and list the type of accommodation needed.
