2020 Minnesota Organic Conference Announced

Proposals and Suggestions for Sessions and Keynotes Invited

St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s (MDA) 2020 Minnesota Organic Conference will take place on Thursday and Friday, January 9 and 10, 2020 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in Saint Cloud.

Proposals and suggestions for conference session topics and keynote speakers are welcome now through May 31, using our online form. A conference planning committee will review the submissions and select session topics aimed at prospective, beginning, and expert organic farmers of all types and farm sizes.

“We want to have a good balance of sessions from research to practical application,” said Cassie Dahl, MDA Organic Specialist. “And we’re looking for knowledgeable presenters on a variety of topics who offer different perspectives.”

There are nearly 1,000 organic operations in Minnesota serving both domestic and international consumers. The MDA has coordinated the Minnesota Organic Conference for the past 17 years. More than 500 people attend this annual farmer-focused event.

Information about exhibiting at the trade show and conference sponsorship opportunities will be available in late summer and the conference program will be available in early fall.
