Fred, Wilma, and Dino from The Flintstones as seen on Boomerang and Minnesota Timberwolves Mascot Crunch coming to Bemidji May 22

(Bemidji, MN) (May 13, 2019) -Paul Bunyan Communications invites area kids to meet and take pictures with Fred, Wilma and Dino, characters from The Flintstones, as seen on Boomerang, and Minnesota Timberwolves Mascot Crunch on Wednesday, May 22 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Paul Bunyan Communications Cooperative Celebration.

The Cooperative Celebration is free and open to all. In addition to our special guests, the fun includes:

• A walleye dinner prepared by the Bemidji Fire Department Fish Fry Crew & Lueken's Village Foods.

• Chance to enter door prize drawings

• Live Musical Entertainment provided by Known Only Locally & Friends of Bemidji

Great kids activities including:

• United States Tennis Association's QuickStart Tennis

• Activities and animals from the Headwaters Science Center

• Face painting

• Balloons

"We are excited to have Fred, Wilma, Dino, and Crunch here for our big cooperative celebration this year! The Flintstones are popular across many generations so we may have just as many adults as kids who want to get pictures! Through the years many of the most popular children's characters and mascots have made their way to Bemidji for our one of a kind event providing an opportunity very rarely available without significant travel and expense. The 63rd Annual Business will precede the celebration beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Annual Meeting is only open to current members of the cooperative.
