BP: Leech Lake organizations hold Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Prevention Walk

About 50 people participated in the Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Prevention Walk in Cass Lake on Tuesday.

The event included the walk, a community discussion and a lunch and was hosted by the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Indian Health Service and Leech Lake Tribal Courts. Star Nayea, a Grammy recording artist and three-time Native American Music Awards winner, also joined the event.
