Gregory "Greg" Thompson, 45, Ada, MN, was called to the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in his home.

Greg was born on July 24, 1973, , and was baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bagley. He is the son of Sue and Jim Sargent. Greg attended school in Ada, MN; and graduated in 1992 from Ada-Borup High School. In October of 1993 he enlisted in the United States Navy; where he became a 2nd Class Petty Officer for four years. After his discharge he attended Wadena (MN) Community and Technical School where he studied Telecommunications and IT. Greg was blessed with three daughters: Jade Alexis, Jakia Layne and Geeah Victoria.

Greg was a jack of all trades and had many hobbies which included the outdoors, motorsports, welding and wood working. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cooking.

Greg is survived by his daughters: Jade, Jakia and Geeah, parents: Sue and Jim Sargent, sister: Shelby Sargent, brothers: Joby Sargent, all of Ada, MN; Brandon Goodwin and Dustin Anderson, both of Bagley, MN; his grandmother: Levonne Hekman, Ada, MN; aunts: Becky, Brenda, Joyce, and Kim, uncle: Tim, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral: 3:00PM Friday, April 26, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
