DYLAN LEVONE FEATHER

October 24, 1987 - April 22, 2019

Dylan Feather, 31 of Tokio, North Dakota began his journey to the Spirit World on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Sanford Health Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Dylan Levone Feather, son of Lavonne (Longie) and Virgil Feather Sr. was born on October 24, 1987 in Devils Lake, ND. Dylan grew up on the East End, rural Warwick, ND, attending Warwick Public School. Dylan later attended the Quentin Burdick Job Corp in Minot and graduated with a certificate in carpentry. Most recently, Dylan worked at the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort in Food Services.

Dylan had a variety of talents and skills in doing various crafts, bead work, creating Medicine Wheels and other art forms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals and was the happy owner of 2 cats and dog who were his faithful companions.

Dylan's life on this earth was much too short, but we keep in our hearts and memories his kind hearted nature and his sense of humor. Those qualities and so many others will give us comfort in the sad and difficult days ahead.

Dylan loving family include his mother, Vonnie Feather; brothers Elijah (Rochelle) Feather Sr., Dustin Feather, Brandon Feather and Virgil Feather Jr. all of Warwick; sister LaDawna Feather also of Warwick; nieces and nephews Cayden, Caydenze, Elijah Jr., Caylen, Brayden and Nicole; aunts and uncles LaVerne Feather, Donna and Dennis Stephen, Gary Longie Sr., Kenny Longie Sr. and Wilma Longie and many dear cousins.

Dylan joined his Dad, Virgil Sr. and grandparents Delores (Alex) and Melvin Feather Sr. and Donald and Lucille (Ross) Longie in the Spirit World.

The Wake for Dylan will be held be at the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, rural Tokio, ND on Thursday, April 25, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service and time of sharing at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services for Dylan will be held on Friday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Dylan will be laid to rest in the Dakotah Oyate Cemetery.

Pallbearers for Dylan will be Eldwin Guy, Russell Smith, Richard Lawrence, Curtis Longie, Conrad Longie and Christopher Stephen. Honorary Bearers will be all of Dylan's dear family and many friends. All Drum Groups and Singers are welcome to share their songs in memory of Dylan.

Dylan is in the care of the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake.
