MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT AND REFERRAL

FAMILY & CHILDREN'S SERVICES

Open: April 22, 2019 – Until Filled.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide assessment and referral services to adults and children, individual, family and group therapy to clients of the agency. (This position will receive all eight hours per month of clinical supervision for those in licensure track for LICSW or LPCC) Reports to Executive Director, full-time position with benefits, salary; DOQ.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to submit bill Medicaid claims to the State of Minnesota

• Identifying and assessing a wide range of client and family needs

• Responsible for completing Diagnostic Assessments

• Reviewing and updating;

o Client Treatment Plans

o LOCUS

o Functional Assessments

 and other supporting documents

• Require a high degree of self-initiative and motivation

• Able to maintain STRICT confidentiality

• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's Degree in a Human Services Field; Social Work or Professional Counseling

• PREFERRED: LICSW or LPCC

• Maintain a valid and current license with the respective governing Board in the State of Minnesota

• Minimum Three (3) year experience providing services to adults and families

• Knowledgeable in Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services

• Knowledgeable about local community resources and how to access those resources

• Have computer competency

• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively, good record keeping skills, good knowledge of Red Lake families and the community

• Must have a valid Minnesota Driver's license and auto insurance

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
