One person reported dead as tornado strikes Caddo Mounds State Historic Site

Authorities in Texas have shut down the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site after a tornado struck during a Native festival on Saturday, resulting in the death of one person.

Citizens of the Caddo Nation and others were at the site to celebrate Caddo Culture Day when the storm hit. A woman who suffered an injury during the event died on Sunday, KETK reported.
