Minnesota troopers respond to 150 crashes in less than 8 hours

ST. PAUL, Minn – A winter storm blanketing parts of the plains and Midwest is leaving its mark on highways and interstates.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, troopers responded to 150 crashes on Thursday from 5 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ten of those crashes were with injury, while none of them were serious or fatal.

Within that time frame, troopers also handled 286 vehicle spin outs and 31 jackknifed semis.
