The Empowered Youth Development Initiatives Workshops to be held in Bemidji on June Saturday's

(Bemidji, MN) The Empowered Youth Development Initiatives (EYDI), based out of Bemidji, Minnesota, will be offering professional development workshops the first three Saturday’s in June at Bemidji High School.

The interactive and engaging workshop series encourages the development of strategies and programs that empower K-12 students with academic and life-skills training. The three Saturday’s will have three workshops in one day and participants may attend different disciplines or stay with the same one. Regional education, music, and art leaders and university professors from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Bemidji State University, Vanderbilt University, North Dakota State University, University of North Dakota and University of Minnesota – Duluth will lead sessions. There are sessions for adults as well as adults observing students being taught in classroom settings.

The workshops are open to all who have a professional interest in the empowered development of children. The pre-registration fee is $99 USD per person and the group rate is $89 USD for two or more people pre-registered at the same time. The on day registration fee is $115 USD per person. The fee includes emailed materials, refreshment breaks and lunch on site, and a professional development certificate.
