Duane at the age of 10 years old moved to the Minneapolis area where he spent most of his life. He met his loving wife in 1988 and began their life together, they adored each other in every way. He worked at Orbecs in Minneapolis for 15 years before the company closed, he also worked at Minneapolis Children’s Hospital for 5 years then moved to Red Lake Mn in 2000 and worked for the Red Lake Casino where he retired in 2009. Dew was a big sports fan, specially of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins, when the games were on this was serious business, we all had to leave the room or keep our mouths closed, no noise was to be heard. Dew loved to pull jokes on each and everyone of us, I am sure everyone has got to feel the jokes a time or two. He loved to sing and loved George Jones. He spent a lot of time at home watching Rachel Maddow and MSNBC. Dew loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren who he loved dearly, to his very last days, Dews life was instructive. As he aged, he taught us how to grow old with dignity, humor, and kindness – and, when the creator finally called, how to meet Him with courage and with joy in the promise of what lies ahead.
