The top cop at the Regina Police Service said he stands by the work that RPS officers did while investigating the death of Nadine Machiskinic, despite an RCMP report concluding the investigation did not meet professional standards.
Machiskinic, a 29-year-old mother of four, died in hospital after falling 10 storeys down a laundry chute in the Delta Hotel in January 2015.
