Amber Christine Hopkins, age 31, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

She was born in Sisseton, South Dakota the daughter of Varden L. Hopkins Sr. and Danita Lufkins.

Amber graduated from High School.

She was formerly employed as a personal Care Attendant for Circle of Life.

Amber was a kind, caring and loving person. She was always smiling. Amber loved her family, dressing up and doing her hair and makeup.

Survived by her mother: Danita Torrence; sons: Macario Hopkins and Jimar Hopkins, Jenicio Prentice; a daughter: Azeha Hopkins; brothers: Varden Hopkins Jr. and Jimmy Torrence; sisters: Kelsey Torrence, Keshia Torrence and Kimmy Torrence; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her father Varden L. Hopkins.

Funeral services for Amber Hopkins will be held on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at The Minnesota Chippewa Tribes Building, 1113 E. Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis.

Wakes will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 5:00 P.M. and Sunday, March 31st from 5:00 P.M. to all night at The Minnesota Chippewa Tribes Building.

Honorary Bearers will be Isha Dore, Kimmy Torrence, Kelsey Torrence, Keshia Torrence, Kaylene Dominquez, Kaci Neilan, Joyce Dumarce, Janelle Dumarce and family and friends.

Casket Bearers Travis Brown, Trevor Brown, Pumpkin Brown, Kello Brown, Justin Brown, Shawn Brown, Courage Brown, Jimmy Torrence and Westin Hill.
