March 26, 2019

Democratic leaders in the Minnesota House unveiled a two-year budget Monday that trims Gov. Tim Walz’s overall spending plan while using new taxes on corporations to help pay for education and other programs.

The Democratic majority in the House announced a $47.8 billion spending limit for the next two-year budget. That’s about $1.5 billion less than Walz’s last proposal.
