4-Part Time Technicians

Northern Winds Treatment Center/Oosh-Kii-Mah-Kah-Nah Halfway House

Chemical Health Program

OPEN: March 21, 2019

CLOSING: Open until filled

Primary Function:

Assist in the care of clients as described below, reports to the Supervisor of NWTC/HWH. Part-time position, no benefits, salary; DOQ.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answer calls as they come in

• Make security log entries on timely basis

• Take client head count on timely basis

• Ensure house rules are being adhered to by clients

• Dispatch any detox calls as they arise

• Ensure safety of all residents

• Make rounds in building and grounds on a timely basis

• Help staff when needed

• Make sure all clients do their daily chores

• Weekends need to cook for clients, make sure to clean up the kitchen

• Have good commutation with your supervisor as well with staff

• Transports, assists, and participates with implementation of recreational and leisure time activities

• Other duties as assigned

Education/Work Experience/Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or G.E.D certificate

• Must have valid MN drivers' license (or work toward license in ninety-day period)

• Must abstain from using mood altering chemicals while employed

• Must be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

• Attend mandatory training and workshops when necessary

• Possess the ability to maintain effective working relationships

• Must abide by confidentiality rules and regulations

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and background check.
