Ada Borup-West over Red Lake 76-64 in Minnesota State High School Class A Tournament

Ada-Borup West extended their season with a 76-64 victory over Red Lake in the consolation semifinals of State Class " A" girl's basketball. The loss ends Red Lake's season at 21-9.

Ada-Borup West led the entire game, 41-19 at halftime, building a 24 pont lead at 50-46 when Amanda Holthusen and Gerika Kinbird combined for 4-three point field goals to cut into the lead. Ada-Borup West senior Ivy Johnson benefited from hard work and passing from her teammates as she poured in a career high 21 points while Mariah McKeever netted 19 points and dished out 9 assists. Kora Kritzberger had another double -double performance with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the 27-3 Cougars. Ada-Borup West will play Mt. Iron Buhl for the consolation championship Saturday morning at 9am after Mt. Iron Buhl defeated B.O.L.D. 69-68.
