February 28, 2019

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN – On February 4, 2019 Red Lake Gaming Enterprises (Seven Clans Casinos) initiated a $1.8 million dollar renovation project of their Thief River Falls location's Water Park. The project, now underway, was in planning stages throughout 2018.

We are making a lot of great and positive changes to our property in Thief River Falls and it is our goal to continue to enhance and improve our property, amenities, and service. We recently completed renovations to our Hotel and we are very proud to be moving forward with the Water Park renovation project. We renovated our restaurant in 2017 and complexly removed the Hotel in 2018. The Water Park is one of the last pieces of the puzzle that's been missing and we are very proud to be moving forward with the renovation project.

The Renovation project of the Water Park will be performed by Fischer Brother's LLC. based in Chippewa Falls, WI. Bids were submitted from various vendors around the state and nationwide. The casino's General Manager, Nicole Gebeck stated "insert a quote you'd like to say about the project, more interactions, family friendly for all ages"

The renovation of the Water Park project will include additions with a Toddler friendly area with splash pad, Handicap access lift into the pool; New Lighting throughout the building, coin operated lockers within the park. Addition to the project, will be a Rock Climbing wall, which will have a separate fee to utilize, and may have up to 3 Climbers at a time.

"One of the more frequent complaints received was our lack of a toddler friendly area and lockers that are coin operated with lock, with this renovation we're also addressing those issues," stated Gebeck.

The Arcade remains open during renovations. Hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday 12:00 PM to 8PM and Friday thru Sunday 9AM – 10PM.

The Thief River Falls casino hotel currently features 152 hotel rooms, a gaming floor with over 600 gaming machines and four blackjack tables, three dining establishments, meeting rooms, and a 40,000 sq. foot indoor waterpark and arcade.

The Water Park renovation is expected to be completed Mid-April 2019. Information regarding the renovation including updates and photographs of the work in progress can be found on the casino's Facebook page and website
