This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Light snow will begin to spread into southeast North Dakota and adjacent areas of west central Minnesota this evening, which will bring a dusting of light snow. Another round of light snow will arrive after midnight, with an inch or less of additional accumulation expected by sunrise.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Light snow will continue on Wednesday and Wednesday evening, with an additional 1 to 2 inches of snow expected. This will push total snowfall accumulations into the 1 to 3 inch range. Wind speeds are expected to remain on the lower side throughout the snow event, so no blowing or drifting snow is expected.

Additional snow is expected late week and the weekend with amounts uncertain and highly dependent on the track of the systems

as they move toward the western Great Lakes.
