WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING...
WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow and dangerously cold wind chills expected. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will produce blowing snow and reduced visibilities at times. Wind chills as low as 45 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest and west central Minnesota.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning until 9 PM CST this evening. For the Wind Chill Warning from 9 PM this evening to noon CST
Friday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.

Additional snowfall amounts 2 to 4 inches are expected today. Through this evening, blowing snow could reduce visibility to a half mile at times. Dangerous wind chill values of 30 to 45 below zero are expected today and tonight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Dangerous wind chill values 20 to 40 below zero are expected Friday through Saturday morning and again Sunday morning.
