Two human bodies found near Bemidji--"not a random act of violence"

BELTRAMI Co., MN (Valley News Live) - The Beltrami County Sheriff's Department says that the human remains found Tuesday, February 5th just west of Bemidji belong to two separate people.

The names and genders of those found have not been released, however police say one person is from Minneapolis and the other is from Duluth.

A Minnesota coroner continues to examine the remains, and authorities are expecting more information on Thursday, February 7th.

A person of interest has been arrested at this time. Police do suspect foul play and assume this is not a random act of violence. There is no threat to the public at this time.
