Glenn Leroy Lowry Fairbanks, age 38, of Duluth, Minnesota began his journey to the spirit world from his home in Duluth on Friday, January 25, 2019.

Glenn was born in Minneapolis on February 22, 1980, to Keith Lowmaster Sr. and Alberta Agnes Martin Fairbanks. He was loved and raised by his mother and stepfather Glenn Leroy Lowry Sr. He grew up in Minneapolis and after earning his GED diploma, Glenn attended school at Fond du Lac Tribal College where he studied forestry and navigation. He loved the outdoors and worked doing yardwork, landscaping and brushing for other people. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attending school. He also loved the Ojibwe language, studying to learn more.

In his daughter Nazharay's words, "Glenn had a ripple effect and everyone knew it. He enjoyed most things that there was to enjoy in his lifetime, such as making jokes with many friends, doing deeds for good people, and singing powwow songs. " Glenn was a family man and enjoyed his children and new grandson.

Glenn is welcomed to the spirit world by his parents and sister Shawnna Fairbanks and brother Joseph Little Bear Webster. He will be forever loved and missed by daughters, Nazharay White and Mariaann Snowflake Fairbanks; sons Bezhig Keith Faribanks and Sapatise Makoonz Cloud; grandson Saul White, sister Debra White; Brothers Franklin Lussier, Steven Lussier, Mitchell Lussier, Ronald James Fairbanks, Ricardo Fairbanks, Johnny Webster Fairbanks, Berry Rundell, Hunter Whirlwind Horse, Keith Lowmaster Jr., James Lowmaster, and Joelee Bigboy Lowmaster; stepsisters Charlotte Lowry and Colleen Lowry; and stepbrothers Lymon Lowry, Curtis Lowry, and Derrick Lowry; and numerous aunts and uncles. Glen would like to also share his love of his life Maria Neadeau, he spent a good part of his life with his partner, they shared many good times together. He loved his children, his family and his many friends. He will be missed and loved by his family.

Pallbearers for Glenn are Darwin Iceman, Kelly Iceman Sr., Jacob Roaneagle, Dan Polonia, Allen Cloud, Ethan Rainey, Darnell Lussier Kingbird, and Charles May. Honorary Pallbearers are Mitchell Duane Lussier, D.J. Neaudeau, Raymond Sayers, Ron Martin, Steve Johnson, Patrick Lussier, Robert May and Covey Lowry.

A traditional wake will begin Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 12 Noon and continue until the service on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11:00am at the Boys and Girls Club, Ponemah, Minnesota

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Dennis Funeral Home, Walker, Minnesota.
