WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills. Despite wind speeds under10 mph through Thursday morning, temperatures will be cold enough to produce wind chills as low as 45 to 55 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect today and tonight for wind chills as low as 65 below zero.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect until noon Thursday. Expect wind chills as low as 65 below zero. Wind Chill Advisories may be needed for Thursday night/Friday morning as wind chills are expected to be between 25 and 40 below zero.

Snow and windy conditions will be possible for Sunday night into Monday. Exact impacts are uncertain. Stay tuned for more details.
