WIND CHILL WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 65 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central and northwest Minnesota.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Warning means the combination of very cold air and the wind will create dangerously low wind chill values. Frostbite

can occur quickly and even hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.

A wind chill warning is in effect starting at 9pm this evening continuing to Thursday at noon. Expect wind chills down to 45 to 55 below.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A Wind Chill Warning is in effect until noon Thursday. Expect wind chills down to 60 to 65 below.

Patchy blowing snow before 7am, then patchy blowing snow after 11am. Partly sunny and cold, with a steady temperature around -25. Wind chill values as low as -57. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around -37. Wind chill values as low as -58. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
