New and Improved Library and Archives Catalog Makes Searching Even Easier

Today the Minnesota Historical Society rolled out a fresh new look for the Library and Archives catalog. Through a partnership with the Minnesota Program for Automated Library Systems (PALS), the Gale Family Library has launched an updated integrated library system that provides the same information and access to MNHS collections with many new functions.

Highlights include:

• A new, updated library catalog that will work on mobile devices

• Ability to link directly to library records

• Ability for researchers to save and export library records

• Support for searching many public domain materials available through other special libraries and collections

Please note this update does not include search.mnhs.org, or other searches available through the MNHS website. MNHS will continue to improve the catalog after its January release. The public is encouraged to watch the library’s website and Facebook page for updates, training information, or to share comments.
