Rob McClain Jr. Records his 15th double-double of the Year

Strong second half by the Thunderbirds helps seal the home contest against the Mon-Dak conference leading Lake Region State College.

United Tribes moves to 12-9 and 8-3 on home territory this season. Lake Region 16-6 (4-1) was held to 32% shooting from the field in its first conference loss of the season.

Rob McClain Jr. stuffed the stat sheets the Thunderbirds with 26 points, ten rebounds, five blocks, five assists and three steals on 11-for-17 shooting from the field. McClain recorded his 15th double-double this season.

Mon-Dak leading scorer Montel Carlow added 21 points, five assists, and three steals. Chayton York chipped in 12 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

United Tribes goes on the road Monday for another Mon-Dak Conference game against Bismarck State College.
